Watson’s StreetWorks is now offering a battery cut-off that will handle the largest charging systems. Whether you are looking for a theft deterrent or a simple way to disconnect your battery, this is a great solution. This rugged new sealed unit is built for a continuous load of 300 amps and will handle 2,500 amps for a 10 second surge. Overloading a smaller battery disconnect will burn it out and leave you stranded.ย This new weatherproof unit measures 5โ x 3 ยพโ x 2โ so hide it wherever you need to. The terminal ends can handle the largest cables.ย ย A low amperage bypass circuit keeps your clocks and computers alive.ย An output is included for an optional status light. Two switch options are available. Switch, hardware and instructions are included.

Use that extra remote control channel (just one momentary switch) to shut off the battery from outside the car. Push it once and the battery is connected. Push it again and the battery feed is disconnected. Includes our auxiliary “hot” feed to the clock or computer or other items requiring power for memory. The solenoid is rated 110 amps continuous duty and 750 amps surge. Hardware, wire, connectors and detailed instructions included. There is no electricity used when this unit is ON or OFF, only while switching. Remote not included.

As you may already know the โHOT DOTโ ignition takes the place of your conventional โkeyedโ ignition switch however it has no security built in.ย This all new RFID Security system gives you the security and convenience that today’s society demands.
What is RFID?ย
RFID stands forย Radio-Frequency Identification. The acronym refers to small electronic devices that consist of a small chip and an antenna.ย The RFID device serves the same purpose as magnetic strip on the back of a credit card; it provides a unique identifier for that object. And, just as a magnetic strip must be scanned to get the information, the RFID device must be scanned to retrieve the identifying information.
The RFID unit has 3 different operating modes.
Mode 1:ย High security mode. The car only starts and stays running with the RFID fob in range.
Mode 2:ย Medium security mode. The RFID fob must be in range for car to start and will stay running until the operator turns it off, then it wonโt restart.
Mode 3:ย NO security mode. Should your fob become lost or damaged you can over-ride the system by entering a code with the hidden button switch.
The RFID is capable of working between 5 and 200 feet with the vehicleโs windows closed.ย If the vehicleโs windows are open we do not have a measurement for how far away the unit will work. ย There are 8 increments of sensitivity that the unit can be programmed to.

A mini-momentary toggle switch controls this battery disconnect. It’s easy to install and easy to hide so it’s a perfect theft deterrent. Intended for “Dry” use only, install the toggle inside your ride. Push it once and the battery is connected, ready for use. Push it again and the battery feed is disconnected except for our auxiliary “hot” feed to the clock or computer or other items requiring power for memory.
