Wire Routing for Hot Rods
Billet ECU Wire Pass Through (WI-001)
An attractive cover with machined grooves to dress up where wire bundles pass through the firewall. Â This wire pass through was designed with large Fuel Injection harnesses in mind. Â The pass through comes with a fitted grommet with a 1″ precut split top hole for ease of installation and can be trimmed. Â The grommet can be opened up to a maximum of 1 5/8″ and has relief cuts to assist with trimming. Â The design of the pass through allows this piece to be added onto a completed vehicle with minimum effort.
Overall dimensions are 4 5/8″ tall x 2 1/4″ wide x 11/32″ deep on top and 2 1/8″ deep on bottom. Â
Inside dimensions are 3 3/4″ tall x 1 3/4″ wide x 5/8″ deep on top and 1 15/16″ deep on bottom.

Booster Spring (L22-BS)
For those really tough original latches that need an extra “boost” to open, these springs will provide a preload on the latch mechanism so that less force is needed to release the latch. 4-1/2″ long zinc plated high-carbon steel springs have 4.40 pounds/inch of force. The cable connector allows you to adjust the pull to your needs.

The magnet is the “key” to this trick system. Just place the magnet close to the hidden switch and it will send power to your actuator, solenoid or any momentary switched mechanism. Complete with “keys”, switches, clips, 40-amp relays and a waterproof back-up button in case you misplace the keys.
Please Note: StreetWorks unique wiring plan assures that wires inside the doors are only “hot” when activated, providing added security from short circuits. Also, magnetic fields do not work through steel but the hidden switch can be put under the lip of a fender or running board, behind glass, plastic, fiberglass, aluminum, non-magnetic stainless trim, filler or any non-magnetic material.
